The Jackie Robinson West Little League was stripped of its U.S. Title. JRW took players from outside its legal boundaries as a way to stack its team. The idea that the coaches and parents would willing do this is horrible for Little League. One player form JRW protected his team saying that the city, the team and the parents know that they are champs. Then again, is he even legally on the team? As the could be great story of a all black team winning, the U.S. Championship will go to the team from Las Vagas.
A twenty two minute video was released on Tuesday, February 3, depicting the Jordanian pilot hostage get burned alive by a torch's flame in a cage, and blaming the killing on Jordan's King. Jordan has said that the assassination had happened on January 3, and the prisoner exchange ISIS talked about was indeed fake, as the pilot was already dead. President Obama will be visiting Jordan to see it's King following this tragic feat by ISIS. ISIS continues to take and execute hostages from various countries, making them one of the most dangerous groups in the world. Scroll down to see more about the history of ISIS. This execution comes after two Japanese hostages were beheaded in videos following Japan's not paying a 200 million dollar ransom. Many countries (including the US) refuse to even negotiate with terrorists, as if they give them what they want, it can encourage them to continue reaking terror. But, even the US has exceptions, like when they released five taliban prisoners in exchange for an American held captive last year. If ISIS had showed proof of the pilot's life (if they hadn't executed them) it is likely Jordan would have complied, just as the US did. Any way you look at it, Deflate-Gate came at a horrible time for so many fans of football after a year already scarred by so many scandals. But what did this do to the Patriots star quarterback, Tom Brady, and his legacy? Brady now has four Super Bowl wins and three Super Bowl MVPs. But after a very questionable beating of the Colts in the AFC Championship Game, and a finding by referees that eleven out of the twelve balls were underinflated, most of the evidence known by most people think the Partiots are cheaters. Many scientists have gone to the science behind deflating the balls and have taken their own side. If the Patriots are found to have cheated, what will the NFL do? It will most likely not be harsh enough and will be remembered, for what it did to Tom Brady.

As all of the kids in New York go back to school after a not needed snow day and a shut down of all transportation after 10 inches of snow was accumulated. The mayor ordered everyone inside, and banned all driving, leaving the streets for only for emergency vehicles. On the other hand, in New England, after around two feet fell in areas, they have a lot of digging and cold hands ahead of them, as well as more possible storms form in the coming weeks bringing snow and cold.
Everyone’s favorite biased, if not endearing, show host Steven Colbert will leave his post at “The Colbert Report” and go on to host “The Late Show” in the place of David Letterman, the previous host. Some people do not like this and want him to stay on his own show where he can do his own segments like “Alpha Dog of the Week” or “Atone Phone”. Others welcome this change and look forward to seeing what Colbert will do to make this show his own. This man has a gift of making people laugh, and we will be watching to see what he does in the future.

The CIA recently released a report about the torture they have used on criminals that will make you doubt the organization.

1. The CIA put humus in a detainee's rectum.
2. The CIA forced a detainee to stand on broken feet.
3. The CIA sexually assaulted a detainee's mother and threaten to kill her if he did not provide what they wanted.
4. The CIA waterboarded a prisoner 183 times.
Waterboarding traumatizes victims for years, makes them feel as if they are dying, causing victims to be afraid of the rain, causing severe pain, loss of consienceness, and can ultimately cause death.
5. The CIA nearly drowned a detainee several times.
6. The CIA caused a detainee to lose his left eye.
7. The CIA caused detainee's injuries to worsen, even after being warned against by medical personelle.
8. The CIA kept detainees awake for over 180 hours (over an entire week), and caused disturbing hallucinations, and caused them to continue to not to be able to sleep.
9. The CIA most likely killed at least one detainee.
10. The CIA tortured detainees even after they tried to cooperate.
11. Even the CIA officials torturing thought the torture was too intense but were instructed to continue anyway.
12. 26 of the people the CIA tortured to out to be wrongfully held.
13. The CIA lied to the White House about how effective the torture was to continue it.
These appplications of torture are a complete abuse of human rights, and is causing people from several countries to turn against Obama and the CIA.
